In order to enrich students' extracurricular life on campus and improve their physical fitness, on May 7, 2023, the skipping competition of the 31st Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Sports Meeting was held in the gym, organized by the Sports Committee and the Department of Physical Education of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics .
The skipping competitions attracted nine teams from different colleges and nearly 200 students to participate in. The types of events in this competition are mainly divided into two categories: individual skipping and group skipping.
In addition to the active participation of students, the referee team also fully utilized their professional qualities to ensure the fairness of the competition, contributing greatly to the success of this skipping competition.
After more than two hours of intense competition, the race came to an end. The top three schools of the 3-minute group skipping were the School of Information Management and Engineering, the School of Public Economics and Administration, and the School of Accountancy. The other program in group skipping, the 3-minute 10 person long rope collective jump, was ranked in the top three by the School of Accountancy, the School of Information Management and Engineering, and the School of Finance.
This rope skipping competition fully mobilized the enthusiasm of students to participate in sports activities, enriched their extracurricular life, and also demonstrated the style and strong sense of cooperation of our students.
