From May 19th to 21st, the quadrennial Shanghai 17th Games Table Tennis Competition and the 2022 Shanghai University Table Tennis Championships were held at East China University of Science and Technology. A total of 638 students from 36 schools participated in the competition. Our school sent a team of 29 student athletes led by coaches Yang Xiao and Wang Yuanyuan to participate.

Sportsman of the Year
In this competition, our school's athletes performed exceptionally well. When facing strong opponents, they gathered the strength of their team, persisting in fighting for every ball, and never gave up until the game ended. The coaches provided careful guidance, observing the entire game. The athletes in the audience carefully watched the game, actively encouraged their teammates on the field. The whole team united as one, successfully breaking through history and adding glory to the school.
