On the afternoon of May 31, 2023, the representatives of the Department of Physical Education, the Youth League Committee, the Trade Union and students held a symposium on the research and study of sports work in Conference Room 204, which was chaired by Mr. Lv Jidong. This conference aims to build a well-rounded education system, stimulating the enthusiasm of teachers and students to participate in sports, promoting the improvement of the physical fitness of teachers and students, and cultivating the lifelong sports awareness of teachers and students.
At the beginning of the meeting, student representatives of various colleges and Teacher Shi Yiming of the trade union put forward various proposals based on the actual situation of teachers and students, covering the proportion of rules for physical education examinations, extracurricular exercise rules, postgraduate physical education courses, sports club development, and sports participation of faculty and staff.
Then, after listening to the speeches of the teachers and students, the leaders and participants discussed and explained them in detail, and pointed out the specific considerations for the establishment of each system.
This symposium built a communication platform for teachers and students, which is of great significance for promoting the development of sports work in our school, enhancing the participation of teachers and students in sports, and cultivating the lifelong sports awareness of teachers and students.
