SUFEr | Zhu Jiner wins the gold medal of chess in the Asian Games.

        On September 27th, the chess competition of the Hangzhou Asian Games was held at the Chess Museum of the Hangzhou Chess Academy (Intelligence Building). The tournament consists of nine rounds, with the winner accumulating 1 point in each round and the draw winner accumulating 0.5 point each. The overall score determines the final ranking. After nine rounds of matches, Zhu Jiner from School of Accountancy of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics held the women's championship with 6 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss, accumulating 7 points. She defeated all opponents and won the women's individual championship.

 




        Zhu Jiner is a Chinese female chess player and an athlete of the National Chess Second Team. She entered the School of Accountancy at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in September 2021 and became an outstanding student in SUFE.

 


        

       Although she is a young player in the Asian Games, she has been well-known in the domestic chess circle and often achieved good results in various competitions. She is one of the representative figures of young chess players. She diligently studied cultural courses in the spare time of training, and proficiently mastered the knowledge and professional skills of accounting.

 


       In high school, she was awarded the title of the Most Beautiful Middle School Student. Nowadays, Zhu Jiner still juggles chess competitions and studies, while Shanghai University of Finance and Economics adheres to the principle of teaching students according to their aptitude. While providing abundant learning resources, it encourages her to pursue her dreams and supports her in striving for higher goals!

        Zhu Jiner once said in an interview, "My ultimate goal is to become a top-notch chess player and win more honors for the country on the international chessboard." Now standing on the podium of the gold medal at the Asian Games, she admitted that it is a new honor and a new beginning. She hopes to accumulate experiences, improve her chess skills, and be ready to hit the next goal.
