On the morning of October 3rd, the women's Go team competition of the Hangzhou Asian Games was held in the hall of Hangzhou Chess Academy (Intelligence Building). Go returned to the Asian Games family after 13 years. The Chinese women's Go team consists of Yu Zhiying, a 2016 School of Humanity player of SUFE, and Wang Yubo, a 2018 School of Humanity player. They defeated the South Korean team 2-1 in the final, which is also the first gold medal won by the Chinese Go team in the history of the Asian Games.

Yu Zhiying is a Chinese professional female Go player and a member of the Chinese Go team. In September 2016, she entered the School of Humanity of SUFE, majoring in economic journalism and was an excellent student.

Wang Yubo, Chinese Go player, is also an alumnus of the School of Humanity of SUFE in 2018.

During the game, Yu Zhiying and Wang Yubo thought calmly and decided bravely. Du Fuhua, the coach of the Go team of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, said that they studied cultural classes hard in addition to training. Yu Zhiying and Wang Yubo are very grateful to the country and the school for their attention and assistance to athletes. SUFE not only provides students with the most comprehensive learning resources, but also is committed to the all-round development of students, especially creating conditions for students with special strengths to display their talents. In recent years, the SUFE students have appeared more and more in various influential competitions!

It is hoped that students in SUFE can cherish their dreams, forge ahead bravely and bloom their own light in the future.
