On October 31st, the 32nd Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Sports Meeting was successfully held at Wudong Stadium. Xu Tao, Liu Yuanchun, Xu Fei, Fang Hua, Chen Xinyuan, Zhu Mingxiong, He Pengcheng, Li Zengquan, Liu Liya, Liu Qingsheng, and Bian Songquan attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided by Lv Jidong, secretary of the Department of Physical Education of our school.
President Liu Yuanchun delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, he first reviewed the implementation of the construction of the physical education system and the reform of the physical education curriculum in our school in the past year. He wished the school sports meeting a complete success. Subsequently, Song Song, the representative of the student-athletes, Wu Chenyu, the representative of the faculty and athletes, and Xie Hui, the representative of the referees, took the oath respectively.
After Secretary Xu Tao announced the opening of the school sports meeting, the wonderful gymnastics competitions were held. The opening ceremony was pushed to a climax.
Subsequently, the track and field competition of the 32nd Sports Meeting of our school officially kicked off. More than 500 teachers and students from 17 faculties participated in the track and field games. Different from previous years, teachers and students from Dishui Lake Advanced Institute of Finance, Kuang Shi College, and the Department of Digital Economy participated in this sports meeting. The track and field games include traditional events such as men's and women's 100m and 400m, high jump and long jump, women's 3000m run, men's 5000m run and relay race, as well as women's 800m and men's 1500m events in the faculty group. Everyone performed their duties and worked together to ensure the success of the games.
In the end, this sports meeting ended successfully. All of the participants speak highly of this event.
