On November 4, the 5th National Mind Games closed in Hefei, Anhui Province. A total of 129 athletes from the Shanghai delegation participated in the competition, winning 13 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 9 bronze medals, a total of 31 medals, ranking first in the National Smart Games for five consecutive years. On behalf of Shanghai, the students of our school participated in the competition, united and cooperated, fought bravely, and won a total of 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze. Among them, Wang Shixu, Tong Yan and Ning Kaiyu won the mixed team championship of college chess, Zhao Wei, Jiang Rongbing and Dong Jiaqi won the mixed team championship of college chess, and Zhao Jiannan won the national team championship of Go.

On November 17, the summary and commendation meeting of the Shanghai delegation of the 5th National Mind Games was held at the Shanghai Chess Academy. The winners of our school were invited to participate.


Xie Dong, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, Wang Ping, Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Municipal Government, Head of Delegation, Xu Bin, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Municipal Sports Bureau, Wang Hao, Deputy Head of the Delegation and Deputy Director of the Municipal Education Commission, Zhao Guangsheng, Deputy Head and Secretary-General of the Delegation and First-level Inspector of the Municipal Sports Bureau, attended the conference, at which our school was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award of the 5th National Mind Games.

The athletes of our school showed the excellent sportsmanship of SUFE, added glory to our school, and made outstanding contributions to the development of Shanghai's sports industry.
