On December 2, sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and the Shanghai Committee of the China Education Trade Union, and undertaken by the Shanghai University Sports Association and the Shanghai University of Sport, the President's Cup table tennis competition of Shanghai colleges and universities was held in the training hall of the China Table Tennis Institute of Shanghai University of Sport. After fierce competition, the team composed of Xu Tao, Secretary of the Party Committee of our school, Ma Qinrong, former Secretary of the Party Committee, and Liu Lanjuan, former Vice President of our school, won the fourth place in the men's and women's mixed team competition.
This year's competition is a round-robin system, and in the group stage in the morning, the first game was defeated by Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University. The participating teachers dared to fight hard and faced the battle calmly, defeated Shanghai Business School with a score of 2:1, and advanced to the top eight with the second place in the group.
In the second stage of the afternoon competition, all athletes performed at a high level, and the game was very close. After defeating Shanghai Normal University 2:0, our school lost to the champion Shanghai Sports University in the competition, and finally won the fourth place in the team competition.
