On the evening of June 7, the 7th Dancing Youth Dance Teaching Competition of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics was successfully held in the comprehensive gymnasium of the university. Focusing on the theme of Promoting Learning and Growing Together through Competition, Five Educations and Advancing Together, this competition gathered a total of 63 teams and more than 500 participating students from the whole school to present a wonderful showdown in cheerleading, aerobics, rhythmic gymnastics, sports dance and other projects.
The competition was sponsored by the Physical Education Department of the school and undertaken by the Dance Teaching and Research Department. Fang Hua, Director of the Sports Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, attended the game and took a group photo with all the participating team members and event team members.
At the beginning of the preparation for the competition, the special teachers of the dance project invested a lot of time and energy, teaching movements in the classroom, and training and guiding the formation choreography of the competition team in their spare time. The teachers' contribution to the competition not only invisibly conveyed a positive spirit to the students, but also stimulated the fighting spirit and confidence of the team members.
On the field, the players brought a visual and auditory feast to the audience with full enthusiasm and exquisite skills. Whether it is the dynamic rhythm of music or the elegant dancing, it makes people feel the vitality and passion of youth. One of the highlights of this competition is to integrate the course ideology and politics into the competition, and make full use of the event activities as a platform for students' ideological and political learning, so that students have a better understanding of the competition etiquette and rules of the dance project, and have a deeper understanding and thinking about team spirit and fair competition. While enjoying the competition, students are also influenced by ideological and political education.
After the evaluation of the judging team, 19 teams won the first prize, 19 teams won the second prize, and 25 teams won the third prize. Lv Jidong, Secretary of the Party Branch directly under the Physical Education Department, issued certificates to the winning teams of the first prize. The winners used their own efforts and sweat to leave valuable memories for their youth.
The Dance Teaching Competition is an important innovative measure to create an integrated physical education teaching system of learning, practice and competition with Shangcai characteristics. This competition not only enriched the sports and cultural life of the campus, improved the students' physical literacy and art appreciation ability, but also allowed the students to have a deeper understanding of the importance of teamwork, and enhanced the sense of collective honor and cohesion.
