On November 18th, the opening ceremony of the 17th Shanghai Sports Games was held in the Oriental Sports Center. Vice President Fang Hua attended the opening ceremony. Lv Jidong, director of the Physical Education Department, solemnly took the vow on behalf of all the referees of the games. Teacher Du Fuhua and men’s basketball team joined the square array of the opening ceremony as the SUFE delegation. Women’s basketball team sat in the audience and cheered for our square array.
Our school actively participated in the games and the athletes of our school also worked hard to train for this sports event, making every effort to achieve their dreams. They did their best to win the honor and manifested their sports talents.

Our school participated in 17 major events and 398 minor events in total, including swimming, track and field, badminton, basketball, fencing, football, laser shooting, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, volleyball, martial arts, aerobics, go, chess, chess and bridge. Under the guidance of more than 20 coaches, the athletes trained for the games. From the beginning of the training to the present, all the participating teams of our school have overcome the difficulties caused by the epidemic and still maintain a good state.
